DON’T FALL FOR THE “BANANA IN THE TAILPIPE”
Them Republicans think they slick!
Just because democrats put up a Black nominee and he wound up being elected president, now the Republicans want to counter with a Black head for the Republican Party. Don’t fall for it!
Many middle and upper class Blacks were swayed by Michael Steele’s recent run for Senator. He seemed to have the right demeanor, played up his Black “sensibilities”, and added the right amount of spin to his Republican policies to come off as a moderate. He intentionally tried not to mention he was Republican to get as many dems as he could. Don’t fall for it!
He’s as deceitful as the rest of them. I mostly remember him as the one that tried to use the fact that he was Black to fool Black democrats into voting for him. He bussed in homeless Blacks from Philly and paid them to go all over Black sections of Baltimore passing out fake “Democratic Voting” templates suggesting he was one of the democratic candidates! It even had prominent Black democrats featured on the cover!! I even remember seeing blue Michael Steele bumper stickers on cars (knowing full well that the traditional democratic color is blue; hence the term “BLUE states) to further mislead democrats into thinking he was one of them. He’s as underhanded and as opportunist as they come.
Below is a link to a few other deceitful and down right disgraceful things he’s done and said. I’ve long believed that the color of a man doesn’t tell you his allegiances or his politics.
