First Obama makes history by being the first Black president of the U.S. Thumbs up! Then he proceeds to name an all Clinton era, derugulation chanting group of establishment economists and “Israel can do no wrong” cheerleaders to his cabinet. Thumbs down! Then he continuously appoints people to key positions that all have problems with tax evasion. Thumbs down! Then he champions a progressive budget for 2009. Thumbs up. But now President Obama has really buried himself with me with his latest butt kissing accommodation.
It has been announced that the Obama administration will not be attending the World Conference Against Racism in Geneva. This is the most widely attended and most important conference on race and racism in the entire world and the United States will not be there. Wait a minute….let me give this it’s proper emphasis:
THE U.S. AND IT’S FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THE WORLD CONFERENCE AGAINST RACISM!!!!!!!!!!!!
The stated reasons (as if there are really valid ones) is that the document against racism that the ENTIRE WORLD is crafting mentions Zionism as a racist regime (which is easily documented and which President Carter recently proved in his book) and also mentions giving reparations to American Blacks (reparations is “just” for Jews, Japanese, Indians and a host of others under international law but not for Blacks).
I sincerely believe that Barack Obama was the best choice OF THE TWO MAINSTREAM CANDIDATES. I also happen to believe he is a very intelligent, sincere, accomplished and competent individual. His speech on racism was the most nuanced given by any politician. But in all seriousness, anyone can have a good speech written for them.
He threw Rev. Wright under the bus and denied the truth of what the reverend said. He threw Black people under the bus on Father’s Day to curry favor with, and pander to whites. He’s far too “accommodating” to white republicans who’ve proven themselves not to be interested AT ALL in bipartisanship. His own Attorney General called Americans “cowards” for ducking the topic of racism and now, given the documented rise of racism in Europe, Africa and Asia, given the rise of hate groups in America since he was elected, and given the record number of death threats he received after being elected, Barack Obama has said the U.S. (after being “pressured” by Israel) won’t participate in the World Conference on Racism!
There’s no justifying that. He has shown his true colors and his true loyalties. That is a disgrace and a slap in the face to Black people in the U.S. and all Black people in the diaspora. He should be ashamed of himself…….but if he’s not, I have enough shame for ALL of us!!!!!
WOULD THE ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER NOT ATTEND A CONFERENCE ON THE HOLOCAUST IF OBAMA SAID NOT TO????
